I am losing my STRS disability because of Dr. Chaturvedi's comments on my condition. He documented that I was "cured" and fit for my job. When I confronted him about this he lied and said he never said that. Since then I have found out that other STRS patients of his went through the same experience. NEVER would I recommend this man to anyone.
When in the office, even when I thought I was doing ok...it only took minutes of him observing me to realize my meds were not balanced. I tried to be hopeful, but he could always see through it. My meds were adjusted time after time. He was always available if I needed him and if I called the answering service, he would call back within 10 minutes of less. If I knew I needed to be inpatient, he would call the hospital and have an open bed ready for me. I trust his judgment. Great doctor.
I liked Dr. Chaturvedi very well. In my experience, he always listened and talked to me in such a way as to show his interest and concern for what I was going through. He is extremely busy, but spends all the time you need with him I never felt rushed when I saw him. I have moved out of state, but I wish he could have moved with me. I haven't found a psychiatrist that I like or trust as much as I do Dr. Chaturvedi.
Listens when in office but very busy and hard to get a hold of.
