Well it started out ok, but it was really like talking just about weather, going to Florida maybe, issues with the wife and my spying neighbor lady whom turned out to be a shrink also. In the end he gave all of the notes to my neighbor. Seemed she worked for workers Comp and WAS spying on me, as I had an open injury case. Total untrustworthy Doctor with records.
Dr C was warm and non-judgmental. A real guy with no pretenses. He connected with me regarding my concerns and set a clear path of treatment.
Staff is a bit rough , deleting messages and no longer doing telehealth appointments
Dr. Chaturvedi is definitely easy to converse with and he understands my situation clearly. He’s very knowledgeable, with great guidance of how to cope with my needs and problem. I am very much helped and appreciate and trust his wise counsel!!
Very rushed visit; does not listen. Never returns phone calls even if patient is in crisis. Does not return calls pertaining to questions on medicine. Does not refill medicine in a timely manner. Completely unavailable to patient outside of scheduled office visit.
Dr. Chaturvedi is different than other psychiatrists… he doesn’t just push medication at you. He truly listens, reviews your medical records and is thorough. He is very kind and compassionate. I’m very comfortable with him and he makes me feel at ease. I’m startled by some of the reviews people have left. Have I ever waited an hour to see him? Refused to see me as a patient when I was scheduled in 6 month intervals and the staff told me that my appointments needed to be rescheduled twice! Staff wouldn't return calls and I had to call multiple times just to get a letter in the mail saying I couldn't be seen.
I have been a patient of Dr Chaturvedi's for almost 20 years. He is the utmost professional, extremely knowledgeable in his field, a very good listener, and has a proactive approach. His office staff is wonderful and my medications are filled promptly. I highly recommend Dr Chaturvedi if you want a great psychiatrist who takes the time to listen to your concerns pertaining to your mental health!
