I like Dr Carkner and her PA Jody. I did, however, have a concern regarding my recent heart catherization. I desperately need a knee replacement as I am bone on bone which is very painful. I had to have a catherization done to insure I’m healthy enough to have this done. For some unknown reason the attending Dr who did my procedure elected to not put a stent in. I love my cardiologist and her PA. The hospital doctor they use is another matter. I went in for a heart catherization as I’ve had angina and pressure for awhile. Plus I’m needing cardiologist approval for a knee replacement. So this doctor elected not to put the stent in when he had the chance so I have to do the whole procedure over again. Plus I’ll have to take blood thinners for several months before they will let me get my knee replaced. Not sure if it was a money grab by this Dr.or not but he sure failed me miserably. ... read more
Dr. Mandawat, is the best cardiologist in Chattanooga
If I could give negative stars, I would. The lack of care for patients is non-existent. Sending someone to collections for an unpaid bill as low as TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS?? If you pay that, then you're sent to the "board" to see if you're even worth them taking you back as a patient. That can take up to two weeks, then up to two weeks to even get an appointment to step foot in the door. This is their "practice policy" and whomever it was that decided that $25 is worth sending to collections AFTER insurance has paid their portio... read more
I recently spent time at your heart center with an 83 year old friend of mine who received excellent care. Dr Mandawat preformed the heart procedure. Nic and Kevin were a great team to get my friend prepared and ready for the catholic lab. Jessee kept me informed in the waiting area. She is so perfect for this job to keep everyone comfortable. Keep up the good work folks.
