I had a Car financed through ***** ******* ********. My Car was totaled on Dec 14,2016 I called on Dec 15,2016 to let them know and that I would be needing my payoff for my Insurance. And that I would also be needing my pay history for my Gap. I gave them permission to talk to my insurance company. Returned from a 46 day trip overseas to discover that MileagePlus Explorer Chase Visa had assessed the annual fee of $95. Contacted customer service to cancel card and to have annual fee cancelled as well. Was informed that there was a 30 day window for cancellation and we were 3 days beyond that date. I explained that we were out of country for 46 days with very limited email and no phone service and did not even know the fee had been assessed until we returned home. I would definitely not recommend. In January we reported a fraudulent account which also reported by the authorities. They had a total lack of cooperation with us and the detective on the case. We had have a subpoena for the information and they have informed the detective that this will take 6 to 8 weeks. In the interim this individual is probably ripping of hundreds of individuals.

Chase believe there mistake is your mistake. The customer picks up the slack. I've had the experience of when I changed homeowners insurance Chase didn't figure in the change. And now I got to pay for there slack. Chase going to say that I was suppose to request the change. But here's the thing I talk with them along with the insurance agent and we figured the difference together. The difference was $40 more for my mortgage. I no longer live in a state that have Chase, however I still have my accounts. This presents a problem sometimes, so I rely on quick deposits. They no longer allow me to make quick deposits into my checking account because I've had too many overdrafts. However, as soon as I overdraft, I get an alert to add money to my account so that I am not charged. I do this by transferring money from my savings or by using the quick deposit option. I recently have a terrible experience with chase bank. I've used chase sapphire card and chase checking. About a week from today, I tried to use my credit card, but it was declined. I called customer service, and the agent told me it will be reactivated if I fill out w9 form at local branch and send it to the main office. I told him I already sent the form twice last year, but he said there was some missing information. I was upset, but I just went to the local branch and filled out the form.
