We are in the area for a little land of Lincoln time. The four of us love the food and atmosphere! The only complaint comes from my hubby! And that was...... Larry’s picture from the 3 stooges was not on the wall! ���

There was six of us, they seated us in a timely manner (even being a Saturday) we were in Springfield for a mini weekend getaway to visit all things Lincoln, I had saw Charlie Parker’s Diner on #dinersdriveinsanddives and made sure to visit this spot! A visit to Springfield, Illinois isn’t complete without a trip to Charlie Parker’s Diner! A great 50’s style diner with a great staff of hard workers and great food, too! If you have to wait to get seated, do it! They’ll send you a text when a table’s ready. It’s impossible to leave hungry!
Food was great, my son wanted to go back again the next day so he could try something that he didn’t get to order yesterday!!
Had the tenderloin shoes with Tatar tots yum
