Thank you to the wonderful folks at Charley's for helping us to host a most enjoyable and memorable rehearsal dinner for our son and his bride last Friday September 11th. The food was delicious, and the staff so welcoming and dedicated to making this a relaxing and very special evening for us. Breakfast was delicious. Omelet 's melt in your mouth. Going back for my birthday dinner. Can't wait! Atmosphere was so nice.

Great service and excellent variety of lunch and dinner options. Crabcake sandwich & fries were on point! Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back.
Three of us for lunch on a Saturday. Restaurant was not crowded. Caprese salad ($10) had less than 2oz of "fresh" (?) mozzarella. One of our party got the wrong soup, which was corrected at the table, but not on the bill. Roasted red pepper and crab soup had virtually no crab. Crab cake was quite tasty, as was the salmon. Reuben was good, although a bit small. Great fries! Overall, nice atmosphere, good waiter, good food... but not quite worth the price tag.
We have been eating here for years. We stop when we visit the beautiful town of Farmville. We ate at Charley's Waterfront in Farmville last night ..ordered prime rib special... it was the worst prime rib we have ever had!!! The first order came out.. I had ordered it medium...it was well done! I sent it back the second order was medium but the meat was tough as nails... my husband's was also very tough, broccoli was over cooked. . Perfect break for our family on our long drive home...service & food were awesome! Loved the building & setting! We'll definitely be back!
Only one thing I enjoyed... The company i brought with me.. Sunday brunch til 2... But if you show up at 1:15 all you get in the dried up crusty leftovers or you can wait 20 minutes in the long line of others who are hungry because there is nothing on the " buffet" , can't order off the menu til 2 and even my daughter says " mommy" the food looks dirty
