A relative recently passed away and we received a call from Schwab's Estate Services Department. ****** ********* indicated that some funds were left to us from the relative and they required that some forms be filled out by us and returned to Schwab before funds could be transferred to us. ****** ********* never e-mailed or called us to tell us that the forms were in route, nor did she assist us in filling out the forms. The forms were filled out and faxed in. When we contacted ****** ********* to inquire about the amounts ... read more

The restriction doesn't prevent me from trading but requires me to have the settled funds available in my account before I can make any type of purchases. Because of this restriction there has been times where I had to transfer 20 dollars or 40 dollars into my account just to place orders because I was short.
