They deducted a significant amount of money after my first month as my "average monthly usage" without notice. In reality, there was only one high charge for a one-time rental vehicle. No other fees were high yet they immediately deducted money from my account instead of allowing me to top-up. This is not my average monthly usage. There's no way to opt-out of monthly average even though it was inaccurate & only based off of the first month. Every other service has more flexibility on payment structure. This is just shady. Being a commercial Chargepoint station owner with their "Assure" protection plan I would have expected that if a problem arose they would respond. That is not the case, multiple technical problems with the unit and no response from their customer service. This is after multiple tickets opened and phone calls/emails. Buyer beware.

Last I checked there was a total credit of $20.00 on my charge point account . The first two hours of charging at my current location is free . They recently changed it to $2.00 for the first 2 hrs . That's fine but what they did wasn't instead deducting what I used automatically they allowed my account to go into a negative state of over $28 and didn't tell me via app or otherwise . They told me that I needed to update my payment method which was fine without telling me I had a negative balance and took $40 without stating ... read more
