Horrible experience. The home charger failed under warranty (3 years). I called, spent an hour on the phone with "level 1 support" and was told another "level 2 support" agent would reply within two business days. Three business days later I called and they said they still needed to review the case. The logs were available (it is connected) and the product is under warranty and the company refuses to replace the unit. I charged at one of their stations for roughly 15 minutes Nov 7 2023, it is not Nov 25. A few days later I received notification of a charge of $1684 on my charge point account, which is obviously incorrect. I've been calling them once a week to find out what is going on, they say they're going to escalate the issue and that I would be receiving a phone call that never comes. The charger would not release from our car at one of their stations. We waited on hold, all three of us trying three different numbers, for 1 hour twenty minutes before someone answering. Then they were absurdly unhelpful. Someone in the parking lot ended up helping us get it out, not them. Terrible.
I waited a month at my community to get a spot with ChargePoint to find out it doesnt work. I contacted ChargePoint customer service 4 times with a different story every time. ******************* is still awaiting a response to set up and appointment for a technician to come out and look at it. I'm becoming more and more concerned as I cannot get thru on any line as a customer or installer. I received a notice that a charge at one of their stations was denied as related to the credit card used. Funny, just the day before the ApplePay worked just fine. I haven't received the charging station and now wonder based on these reviews if I should cancel. Glad I put it on my AMEX card.
My Chargepoint charger started malfunctioning over three weeks ago. I have wasted several hours chasing up the warranty replacement and I am getting no response despite repeated phone calls. I am told my warranty replacement has been approved but it has not been shipped. Meanwhile I have a bad charger. This company is terrible at customer service.
