My friends and I have visited Char on many occasions, especially for birthday celebrations, we love love the food and the atmosphere, however; we find it difficult to understand why this restaurant allows a group of men who visit the bar area everyday to practically run the place. We have experienced encounters in the past where the waitress would ask us to leave their 'table'! We regularly dine at Char, and tonight's meal was definitely the best. The hostess, Lyndsey, greeted us immediately and thanked us for stopping in. The manager Matthew stopped by our table multiple times, and our server, Jessica, was fantastic! The food is consistently great, but tonight was exceptional. I definitely recommend Char!
Tasty, filling southern fare. Great atmosphere and wonderful music. I will definitely visit Char on my next trip to Jackson.
