I have in the past four years tried every restaurant in the Cookeville area. With Chars I was expecting more then what I got. The prices did not match the quality of the food or the service. The taste was average and it didn't make the place stand out to me like all the radio advertising makes you believe it will. It made me feel like they put more effort in advertising then they did in the quality of food. Had a great prime rib! We loved the yummy rolls! We will definitely go back!!
Family friendly. Service was good and the food was great.
Salads are fresh and the only place to get a great steak in Cookeville. The beer selection is nice also.
My husband and I had the smoked blackened prime rib, baked potato and a salad ....very delicious..... hats off to the chef or chefs ♡♡
