We love Char and have never had a bad meal there!!
My birthday dinner was awesome best seafood platter I've ever had.
Yesterday at last minute our family 23 in total decided to go to a restaurant for dinner. We called and stopped at a few other places that could not handle such a large group, however Char's was not only able to seat us but they fit all of us together, food was wonderful, and service spectacular. Thank you Char staff for making our evening a great memory as we all came from different states to spend the day in our Grandmothers childhood hometown. Cookeville is a great place!
First time in Cookeville and asked folks at Good Shepherd Health Store for a restaurant with good burgers. The cashier and a patron both recommended Char. I recommend upgrading the burger to a steak burger for a dollar. Best burger ever - got to try it! They've some good local beer on tap too!
