We worked with Billy, who is a senior broker at Chappell. Billy was a JOY to work with! We were moving from PA down to NC. He made time for us, took us on virtual tours (so thorough!) and went to bat for us in negotiations! He understands that relationships are truly the most important thing, and we are so glad we had the opportunity to work and be in relationship with Billy!
Unfortunately, we had some issues working with Chappell Residential while purchasing our home. We were frustrated by the need for coordination with different realtors, lack of help while creating an offer, and the overall lack of support we would have hoped for. Our main realtor felt like he was mostly unlocking doors rather than aligning expectations for houses or setting realistic goals. Overall, we were dissatisfied with these services and would not recommend them.
I wholeheartedly recommend Billy Hoffman if you are buying or selling a home in the triangle! Billy and his support team were incredible throughout the entire home-buying process for a relocation to Raleigh from another state. It was great working with Johnny Chappell as a realtor. He was always personable, responsive and reliable. He successfully negotiated a complicated deal for me to sell my home to a developer , getting me the best price as well as the option to stay in the house rent free for a good period of time. He was always there to answer questions and to carefully explain the process of sale. He also worked very well with my lawyer who had high regard for him.
