Upon replacing a dead battery in my 2017 BMW GSA, which I bought new from Champion in May of 2017, I discovered that the original battery was a Yuasa battery, not a BMW battery. It was smaller than the BMW replacement battery, requiring a foam spacer to fill the void in the battery box, (BMW battery fills the box). It's manufacturing date was 03/08/2016.
