Chambersburg hospital is a shit hole takes them four fucking hours to send a doctor in to see a patient who has a gallbladder attack , and is in pain and that is already schedule for surgery just to send them fucking home with nothing that's just ridiculous , this is why I don't come here . Maybe y'all should get more doctors and nurses to get the job done right and STOP talking at the fucking nurse stations . !!
The wait was horrendous. We were there because my seven year old hit her head and she had a gash. She was beside herself and terrified about what was going to happen. Triage was great, but our first RN was cold and irritated. Not a fan of the doctor's bedside manner either. The only saving grace was the second RN who was fabulous all around!
The other night was amazing,we were taken right away & the nurses still had a smile on her face even though I heard they were swamped earlier. Doctor Brian j, kipe I loved he was amazing! Nurse was KDZ very nice & caring. I've had a doctor before for my son, one time that didn't seem to care. Just because my kids have state insurance doesn't mean they shouybe treated any didrently. The other night with Mason we were treated like equals & I want u to know how much I really appreciate that. Kindness goes a long way.
Every visit is different. I thpught our nurse was very nice. But after over an hour of nobody coming in after nurse I was pretty upset. 4 hours because Medexpress felt blood work was necessary. The ER tech came in with prelabeled tubes and never used her mobilab on my husbands wristband thus circumventing this failsafe system for reducing misidentification.
Nurses were wonderful. Especially the one who tended to me. Came off very caring and had a smile on the whole time. Very polite. Doctor, not so much. He seemed uncaring and in a rush. I had issues with my eye. He went to exam it and pried my eye open with an ungloved hand. I have no idea where he had been before he came in the room. Couldn't even use a medical flashlight to look at my eye. He pulled his cell phone right out of his pocket, pressed the buttons, turned the light on, and pried my eye open again. Went in in extreme amount of pain left with no answers in extreme amout of pain. Told to call dr on monday. The nurses were great!! Dr was a waist of time.. More then 6 hrs of my time waisted. This isnt the first time ive been dissapointed by the chambersburg hospital! Asked for patient advacit didnt get one either!
Best hospital I have ever been to they r very through
The doctor was rude ... He didn't seem like he wanted to help my husband.My husband has a BB in his hand an because he doesn't have insurance he said well since you don't want to go to a specialist.and I said it's not that we don't want but summit orthopedic wants up front payment an we can not afford it just had an electrical fire .
