Was seen in the reception area by a PA, bad neck, back, into chest pain... they asked me some questions, checked my reflexes and vitals and said it was muscle.... I mean maybe a X-ray? I get chest pains get you no where unless you over 40?
I was taken in by coworker for possible stroke. I was immediately seen and given a room. I had great nurses that knew exactly what they were doing with great bedside manners. I have nothing but good things to say about the whole experience. BUT!!!!!!!!!!! after checked in as an inpatient the experience changed. Nurses were still so sweet and great but doctors and communication was horrible. Needless to say I had enough and checked myself out 24 hours later against their recommendation so I could return home 1.5 hours away to... read more
I am glad I went. N even though it was an embarrassing situation, I am still glad I went. They didn't treat me like it was embarrassing. They acted (and probably do) like they see it everyday. Wasn't there long n was treated good. My last experience sucked n I was reluctant to go back. But this was better.
Poor communication. Very long wait time. Only one transporter on at night.
I was very pleased with the staff and quick service. I know that is hard to believe that I got in so fast. Chambersburg Hospital has been working on improving the emergency service and it shows. I was given service with a professional and friendly attitude . I give them a 5 star rating. I'm 75 years old and have hated to use the emergency room be cause of the long waiting. So hats off to outstanding I received. 👍
The nurses and doctors are nice � i will go back if i need to well done doctors and nurses
Everyone was awesome. I ended up having emergency surgery. They all made me feel at ease.
Nurses were good and carrying doctor was good and listened to me and checked me even saw what nobody else saw hope meds work
