I think he is a great surgeon , unfortunately he probably gets pressure from Workmans Comp , he okayed for me to go to work right after serious surgery . I tried getting a letter with permission to drive in pain and on Oxycodone But they never got back to me.
Dr. Malempati was very pleasant and easy to talk to at my initial visit. He recommended an MRI since I had already done PT with another doctor and had not had any relief. MRI showed damage, he scheduled surgery and Covid 19 hit. We had to postpone 6 weeks for elective surgery. He called after surgery to check on me and we had multiple telephone office call and zoom calls. He was always patient and kind in answering my questions and seemed genuinely concerned. I would use him again in the future if needed.
Yes, I would definitely recommend Dr. Malempati. He was efficient, easy, not a rushed manner even though I know he is busy. Speaks in everyday language , easy to understand & definitely makes good decisions for the patient.
Dr. Malempati repaired type II slap tears in left shoulder in 2018, and right in 2020. Pain is gone and the joints are stable. Dr. Malempati is very knowledgeable and focused on patient recovery.
Dr. Malempati performed a rotator repair and distal clavicle resection on me. I had no reach above parallel and tremendous pain before the surgery. After, and with therapy, I am able to throw a ball, golf, lift, and support my own weight. I had shoulder repairs and highly recommended Dr. Malempati. He treats his patients great. He has time to answer questions and talk to patient.
Dr. Malempati repaired a rotator cuff and an old broken collar bone injury that had not healed properly. I can't say is was a painless procedure, but Dr. Malempati made an effort to make it as painless as possible for this type of procedure. I have gone from constant, moderate shoulder pain to approximately 95% pain fee use in 6 months. I am very pleased with the outcome of the surgery and rehabilitation.
I saw Dr. Malempati for a torn rotator cuff ( 2 places) and I have to say he does a remarkable job. I had minimal pain and completed healing with little discomfort. Dr. Malempati is very concerned and stays on top of your physical therapy while making sure you are progressing at your peak. Highly recommend!
