This is the second house that Eric has inspected for us, and I’m very happy with his service. Our builder was late to open the house, but Eric patiently waited with me. He told me not to worry because he only accepts one to two jobs per day so that he can take the time to perform a thorough inspection. Could not be more pleased with the decision to hire Eric for all three phases of our new construction inspections. Easy to schedule with, walks you through the process and is very good at communicating the good/bad of what he is seeing. Inspection reports came same day so that we could pass them along to the builder.
My expectations were thoroughly exceeded with Eric's concise and well explained points throughout the inspection. He is a seasoned and knowledgeable inspector who keeps in perspective the type / age of home he's dealing with and then balances theory (code), reality, and practicality in his findings against what he ultimately reports on. Update Sept 2025: still the best of the best. Jan 2019: Eric of CeS Inspections is definitely one of the best in the business. His inspection was thorough and he is very knowledgeable/ delightful to work with. He goes above and beyond the rest which is why i contracted him on multiple occasions (all different properties including some for my family).
