I cannot day enough about the staff at Central Jersey!!!!! They are so kind, so gentle and on my son’s level. Every step of his cleaning was explained to him so he would understand. He wasn’t scared at all. The hygienist said repeatedly that she could not believe he was only 2.5 years old as he did everything she asked him. The best decision we’ve ever made for our son’s oral health and mental well-being. The staff and doctors are experts not only in their craft, but in the genuine way they interact and deal with patients with special needs (my son has autism)
Love this office! My daughter has been coming here for years for dentistry and orthodontics. So convenient to come to the same place for both. Dr. Overcash has done wonders straightening my daughter's teeth and Dr. Backhaus keeps them looking shiny and bright. Office staff is top notch! So friendly and great with the kids. Highly recommend Dr. Backhaus for dentistry and Dr. Overcash for orthodontics!
Our daughter has been going here since age 2. She is 9 now :) At that time, she fell and cracked off a large portion of her front tooth. Dr. Backhaus had to perform a pulpotomy. All went smoothly. The tooth looked amazing, never turned purple from trauma, and fell out at the usual time around age 7. We trust Dr. Backhaus and her entire staff. They also truly have a lot of patience with the children.
We love Dr. Backhaus and her friendly staff. They helped keep my son comfortable for his cleaning and knew exactly what to do so he wouldn't be scared. He had a few cavities and they were excellent for each visit to get them filled. I don't think my son even knew what was going on. Now he thinks it's fun to go to the dentist. And no one made us feel bad about the cavities. They just fixed them up and got us back on the right track to good dental hygiene.
