The entire mental health department at the Towbin medical center is a mix of deadly and useless. If you ever get assigned a Dr. Sasoon, ask for another provider; he ruined months of my life and nearly drove me to end it with his incompetence. The rest of the clinics there are helpful, just think twice before trusting their mental health system to actually get positive results. A friend had open heart surgery in August. As of February 1st, the VA has still failed to provide him with a follow up appt with a cardiologist. Deplorable....

Well I am very thankful that they do provide Me and others with free medical care!! Everyone bashed them but I have had some serious issues and always been treated well and taken care of!! Sure would be faster in private sector but who can predict!! Some of the people complaining should try and pay for their own meds and such and then might become thankful for the VA services again!!
