Iv been trying to get into PTSD counseling for two years. It's no wonder so many of us end our own lives everyday when places like Ft Roots is our only option for help. I have been told by many VA employees in the years I have begged for help that the only way to get anyone to seem interested in getting you help is to say you feel like harming yourself. Been receiving care for 30+ years. Would not be alive if they were not there for me.
My daddy was in the VA hospital several times between August 2013 & February 2014. He had nothing but wonderful things to say about the care he received. Each time he was admitted he told me how kind and caring all of his caregivers were, and that they took such good care of him. Thank you so much to all of you!
