Two years ago I came home from the Little Rock VA, thank you. Death, I was so close. There was shrapnel from an enemy mortar shell everywhere, I was lucky only had a small piece in my groin. Death, it was close enough to smell, small arms fire had us pinned down, we were surrounded by a river swollen by the monsoon rains, one dead, and nowhere in the darkness was there any safe haven.
