I had a baby in Dec 2017, my insurance covered a majority of it, but then I owed a few hundred dollars after insurance. I asked to be on a payment plan for 12 months. I repeatedly paid every month, but missed two months (not consecutively) because of holidays and traveling. They DID NOT call me to discuss or remind me BEFORE sending to collections. How dare you treat patients this way. You should at least make a call or mail something to let us know that we missed a payment and it would be sent to collections.
