They made my surgery and in general experience there all about me. I couldn’t be anymore thankful for this hospital.
Currently sitting in the ER with my husband who has had sneezing attacks and coughing up BLACK mucus along with BLACK discharge from his nose. We immediately came back to the room. Once in the room, the PA came back after about 30 minutes. When she came back she was very rude. She kept asking my husband ‘So are you coughing up blood?’ Over and over again. I was immediately seen at the ER. Once my issue was treated, they asked me to stay to recover and be monitored. It was a pleasent experience, with great and attentive staff and clean and well-appointed facilities. The doctors answered my questions and the nurses were kind, knowledgeable and went out of their way to make me comfortable.
The absolute worst. Before bringing my son into ER I spoke to admission & triage nurses. Both suggested I bring him in. Two hours later, we get sent out the door with an "I'm sorry. There is nothing we can do." My son suffers with major depression. He's anorexic due to an absorption issue. He has chronic fatigue, hypermobility, fibromyalgia and Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. My daughter was sick for over 30 days and progressively worsened after 2 visits to PCM, took her to the ER with fever, cough and chills for blood work and chest X-Ray. The PA there treated me like crap as if I am worried over nothing that my child is sick and is not recovering. All of the staff we encountered had an extremely unpleasant attitude. If you hate your job that much go into another career! I can’t wait to get a survey for that HCAP score!
Surgical suites were wonderful!! The floor nurses were terrifying! I waited for over 2 hours after surgery for pain meds, then was given a double dose by two different nurses! I was told by a Supervisor it was “ok because the dosage wasn’t going to kill me”. That floor was a dark and scary place!!
