Wonderful place! We just had a party there and it was great! Clean and very knowledgeable staff!
They're wonderful people who really take care of the animals I wish that people would donate more to them so they can keep taking care of our little and not so little friends
I remember going there seeing Betty Woodford who was a friend of our family!
I am absolutely so thankful that these great people were able to help this snake that got tangled in our pond netting! I am so afraid of snakes but couldn’t just leave this guy! They were so great and helped the snake after hours!
Today I confirmed that they were definitely abandoned and needed help asap since they were way too young to be without their mom. She was most likely trapped (relocated) or died. After making calls all day trying to figure out where I could bring them without being euthanatized, I was put in contact with Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge. They were super helpful and understanding and were the ONLY ones who would help. I dropped them off about an hour ago so hopefully they will make a full recovery and eventually be strong e... read more
Did a fantastic job getting our raccoons back into the wild MANY MANY years ago.
loved to see the animals being taken care of, and then released back in nature of possible. beautiful park, very nice people.
I brought a large injured and bleeding painted turtle here tonight after they had closed. I wish that they had came out to take him from me instead of just putting him in one of the kennels as I heard laughing and talking behind the closed doors. However, somebody later messaged me and said he was ok and would be transferred somewhere else for long term care, so I feel much better about the situation and greatly appreciate what they are doing for the wildlife.
They are the largest wildlife rehabilatator in New Jersey. They do not receive State or Federal funds. The 4,000+ wild animals they help each year are possible due to the generosity/donations of caring citizens. A peaceful retreat where one can enjoy the miles of onsite trails, browse the nature center, and see wildlife onsite.
