RecommendedWonderful secluded spot in Medford, NJ, housing various wildlife birds and animals who are unable to survive in the wild. Impeccably kept grounds replete with a foot bridge crossing a beautiful lake. There is also a gift shop and an awesome playroom for the little ones. Highly recommend a trip here.

I took a rail bird that I rescued from Brigantine back bay s few years ago. I recently found barn swallow with an injured wing at the Cape May Hawk Watch platform. I called about the swallow on friday morning of Labor Day weekend, 65 miles away from Woodford. They put me in touch with a volunteer network who arranged pick up and transport to the center by the afternoon. Everyone I spoke with was very caring.

Great place to let kids see animals up close in a natural wooded environment (and my granddaughter also loves the indoor play area)
I’ve brought an injured bird and an injured rabbit here over the years. Great people who care. So important to have a place to bring these poor helpless animals!!!
