Taking advantage of people - especially on fixed incomes – I have been taking both of my dogs to Cedar Bluff for a couple of years. It has cost me a fortune??? Everytime I go it is at least $100 or more for each dogs visit. They are the highest in Knoxville - believe me I have been checking around. Yes, I have heard great things about Dr. Butler's clinic. Maybe a little unusual - meaning the type of pets you may see - a pig, bird, etc.! But as far as I have heard he is great and plan to schedule a visit. Goodbye Cedar Bluff.... read more

Can't say it enough,,,,, – I can't say enough good things about the Cedar Bluff Animal Clinic. My cat is my pride and joy, so when I saw the first signs of him being sick, of course I wanted to get him the best care I could. The staff was comforting to mine and my cat's needs.. they went through all kinds of diagnosis with me and thoroughly explained each one and what could be wrong. They handled my buddy with love and care as if he was their own. I ended up having to leave him for observation over night and the doctor was s... read more

Great vets and great prices – As a doc for humans, I appreciate good care for my animals. I was surprised and shocked to read some of the reviews about price, etc. After moving to Knoxville, we took our animals to Cedar Bluff. We have never had anything but great experiences there! They have explained problems, offered options for care, and we are ALWAYS surprised at the prices--we can never believe that it's as low as it is! We've lived in quite a few places before settling in Knoxville. Some of those places have been big c... read more

Caring Vets, Prices equal or better to most vets in the area – I hate that there were people unsatisfied with Cedar Bluff. It is a great vet hospital and in the past 2 years they have been treating my dogs I have always felt they were fair priced.Like it or not it is expensive to have pets. I have always gotten the information needed-even if the vet had to call me personally at home. They often throw in free boarding nights and even gave one of my dogs a free teeth cleaning during a surgery since we discussed it but at the t... read more

TON OF MONEY ! NO INFORMATION – I recently took my Lhasa to Cedar Bluff Animal Clinic because he was having difficulty urinating. They did an x-ray and told me he had bladder stones. They proceeded to tell me that he would die if they didn't operate immediately. They described a surgery that would cost around $800, more if they had to send him to UT. I asked if there was any other option to which they responded yes...to push the stones back into his bladder so he could urinate again. They told me it would cost $250. When I p... read more

Awesome – They always fit me in as I request on a Saturday, with 4 cats and 1 dog. Even after hours they referred me to someone that helped with an injured squirrel, a bird, a chipmunk and a box turtle. Prices are too high everywhere especially for pet care, I'd like it to be cheeper for my pets but the comparisons I made were close enough to keep me coming back for 7 years. I've tried other clinics they were not worth the extra drive for less care.

Prices out of control – I used to go to Cedar Bluff animal Hospital. I took my Schnauzer to Cedar Bluff because she had to uninate all the time and noticed the urine was red. I found out she had Bladder Stones and she would need surgery to have them removed. The price for this and also having her spade was going to be $875.00. I would also have to wait 2.5 weeks to get her in for the surgery. I could not believe it would cost this much. A friend of mine mentioned I should call Butler Animal Clinic because the prices were muc... read more
