I couldn’t imagine any other oncologist or any doctor taking care of me. I’ll be glad to graduate after 5 years but i don’t want another doctor. She is caring, knowledgeable, empathetic and proactive. I love Dr. Boardman!

I was extremely happy to have Dr. Boardman as a referral and she accepted me as an annual GYN patient. I trust her and she was very personable and that goes a long way with patients.
Dr. Boardman really takes the time to listen to you. When you are with her you feel a connection as she truly understands your concerns. She is a Dr who truly wants to help you to figure out and medical problems. Dr. Boardman is very compassionate and a very knowledgable Dr.
When I knew I had cancer, I was referred to Dr. Boardman. I read her excellent reviews and felt lucky that she was my doctor. I loved her manner at our first meeting. However, my family pushed me to get a second opinion on my ovarian cancer at a major top rated national cancer center like Mayo or Dana Farber because they didn't believe I could get they the VERY best care in a small place like Richmond . I was in pain and had been referred to Dr. Boardman. The office was able to schedule an appointment for me the following week. I called, thanked thanked them for the quick appointment and requested to move my appointment up if possible. Later, they moved my appointment up a few days and I was able to see Dr. Boardman very quickly. She was very professional, knowledgeable, and kind. She scheduled me for surgery within a week. Dr.Boardman is the best. Very caring and compassionate. Good listener too. Cancer is a very scary word. She helps you deal with it in a way that when you leave her her office you have hope. ??
Dr Boardman is a caring and compassionate physician. She really listens to you, asks the right questions, is thorough in her evaluations, and is a great surgeon. She has been, quite frankly, the best experience I've had with any doctor in my 60+ years. Oncology is a scary thing, but in her capable hands, it doesn't seem quite so bad. I most highly recommend her.
Dr. Boardman was amazing!! She took such good care of me. She spent a lot of time explaining my procedure and answering all my questions. Dr. Boardman has an excellent bedside manner. She is a skilled and knowledgeable surgeon. I Highly recommend her!! So thankful for all that she has done for me and I am feeling great!
