Efficient, courteous and relaxing. I am the Siskel and Ebert of dentist experiences and all I can say is, I am glad Dr. Caven is in Jacksonville. I know the anxiety of "trying" a new dentist, but Dr. Caven and his team are exceptional. They work seamlessly from the moment they greet you to the time you leave the office. I have been very happy with my two visits to Dr. Caven's office. Dr. Caven and his staff are very friendly, professional, and compassionate. In the past, I have dreaded going to the dentist. Dr. Caven and his staff go out of their way to make you comfortable. On both of my visits, Dr. Caven spent a lot of time talking to me. He explained, in detail, the cause of certain dental problems. I really appreciated that. I look forward to continuing treatment with Dr. Caven.

There is no equal to Dr.Caven and staff. You will be educated as desired, made comfortable in ways that I had never considered (lip moisturizer? free samples, TV channel preference, sunglasses) as being an inconvenience in the offices before meeting Richard. He holds his staff to the highest standards. He has a new and improved device just about every time I go.

I had been referred to Dr. Caven from the Great Gary R Manasse DDS.I had my first visit with Dr. Richard Chace Caven, yesterday for a crown. I have had years of dental work for various reasons, the dentist is not my favorite place to be. Dr. Richard Chace Caven, LIZ who is sent from God and Heather offering a warm towel at the end of the procedure was extremely kind. My wife and I have had treatment by Dr Caven for a number of years now - he is an excellent dentist, always very caring in the way he is handling the treatment and we trust him completely with any more involved procedures. Furthermore - it is nice to have that phonecall in the evening showing that he is genuinly concerned about your well being! His office is pleasant and the staff very friendly.

Overall was a great experience. Learned a lot about my teeth. Dr Caven was amazing at explaining everything. There is a lot of work to do with my teeth but I know I won't be able to afford. Also I've never had to pay co-pay at dentist before but I had to for first time visit.
