Our tour was excellent and our tour guide, Jenna should be commended for her role in our enjoyment! Our granddaughter who just turned 6 became frightened and wanted to "go back". Jenna took her by the hand, reassured her and let her "help" with the tour! She also gave her a Ranger Star badge, which thrilled her! We were able to complete the tour and had a great day! Kudos too, to the employees who provided the welder's helmet so we could view the eclipse! Great venue, super staff!
The Cave of the Mounds is one of my most cherished childhood memories! It was so amazing to be able to share and re-live it with my two young children! I love the new additions inside and out! A must see National Landmark!
I decided to visit Cave of the Mounds on a random day trip. It did not disappoint one bit!! The cave is surreal and the tour guide was very nice. The landscaping and scenery around the cave and visitors station was breathtaking.
