Cannot seem to find enough good things to say about Catrina's. My family and I frequently visit Catrina's (Oakdale Location) because of the fresh, high-quality food, amazing hospitality, clean establishment, and just to overall support an amazing small business. The owner, Lorenzo, is incredibly kind and goes above and beyond to ensure everything is made to perfection and everyone has a good experience. His recipes and ingredients are phenomenal. I feel like these "Mexican food restaurants" are very much over priced coming from Texas...and it doesn't even taste that good...food was too bland for me and the tortillas tasted like they were warmed in a microwave
I discovered Catrinas on a whim one night. That was 8 years ago and it's become a staple. Locally owned, small business, great food, and excellent staff. Order at the counter and build your own meal from a variety of freshly prepared items. It's a terrific place for a filling meal.
