Recommendedbest place to spend your vacation
My husband and I stayed in the Castle Rock cabin Feb 8-10, 2019 for our 10th Anniversary. Our stay was Amazing! Came highly recommended, did not disappoint. We took fun pictures walking across the frozen river and hiked almost to the top of the mountain we are at the base of. Had we gone to the top, we would’ve been overlooking the RMNP! Amazing weekend !! We will be back !
We stayed in River Castle 7 for Christmas per requests from our children to have a hot tub. We loved how spacious the living room was and used the kitchen and fireplace daily. We followed Carley’s recommendation to hike up to Old Man Mountain from behind the cabins and it was a perfect hike (we even took along a 10, 7, 4 and 3 year old). Hands down best place to stay from the views and the closeness to downtown Estes. Loved our private hot tub. The hike behind the cabins. And they welcomed pets!
We have been staying at Castle Mountain Lodge for over 30 years! So many memories, and such wonderful friends! Always feels like our second home! Thank you!
