RecommendedJust had a mini family reunion here. It was very comfortable for us. Nothing fancy, but we had several children so we didn’t feel like they were going to break anything! The fireplace and the fire pit were a hit for the grandkids and the “old people”. Very accessible to RMNP, and downtown. The playground was handy, some fished in the river, and we even had a chance to gather everyone for a movie! Beautiful cabins great staff.
We just left our fav place in Estes, but will return again! Chris, it was nice meeting you, and we did see some bears on our hike up the mountain! Fortunately they were made of plywood....ha ha. Next time we come, we will need a bigger place as we are bringing family. Thank you again for sharing your wonderful lodge with us, and making everyone feel at home.
These cabins are impeccably clean, the staff are very friendly and welcoming! My husband and I had the best time and really relaxed during our stay. We will definitely be back!! Next time when it’s a little cooler so we can enjoy the fireplace!! So glad I had a fan in the bedroom! Definitely a plus. Wish there had been a blow dryer though. I left mine at home.
Castle Mountain Lodge is everything you could ask for and more! The cabins are extremely clean and the staff is so friendly. My kids loved the park! We also enjoyed the games and movies in the lodge! 5 stars!
Castle Mountain Lodge is an awesome place to stay! It's quiet and peaceful. The staff are very pleasant and accommodating. I wouldn't stay anywhere else! I have stayed there on three different occasions!
We have stayed at Castle Mountain Lodge 2 times now & love it! The property is well taken care of. The cabins are clean. The flowers & landscaping is beautiful! The staff is very welcoming & so nice! You will see wildlife & being by the river is nice! The Tuesday ice cream social is such a nice event to offer! We highly recommend staying here!
