Recommendedour family has been here so many times. every year we took our kids. then my mother in law, our grandkids, my Mom right before she passed. even though we have been there a lot. you never get tired of it. the mountain is beautiful. no matter what season. we always see something we hadn't the year before. my hubby was in the national guard when they got hit with the flood. he said that everyone helped everyone. no matter what they lose. very nice people. always ready to answer questions. I recommend this place. family fun.
RecommendedEven though it is in the middle of nowhere, a trip to Cass is a worthwhile adventure. From the steam powered mountain climbing train, to the tour of their shop, hiking along the Greenbriar River, and an overnight stay in one of the company houses, it is a journey back to a simpler time.
