Our Pizza. Our way. – You would have to be an idiot to order green peppers on a Casserta pizza. That's like ordering ketchup for your stake serloin. Don't get me wrong peppers are good on Chicago style pizzas and the like but this is not Chicago or New York. This is Providence, Rhode Island. And this is our pizza (and our atmosphere for that matter)!
It's still there! – I worked at Uncas Mfg. from 1967 to 1972. A work friend introduced me to Casserta's. Thirty nine years later.... I still loved their pizza. The menu is almost the same now as it was then. I don't mind the parking, waiting for a table, the limited menu, or picking up my own order. I am a loyal customer, and will be until I die. Casserta's..... don't change a thing!
This is the Best in Rhode Island? – I moved here from NYC and thing first thing I ask is "where can I get a good pizza?" Lots of Italians here, so I figure I can't lose right? Wrong! Man, Rhode Islanders do not know good pizza. Glaring example is Caserta's. I've had frozen supermarket pizza that was better. For what Caserta's charges for a pie, you could send a kid to college. Another clunker is that they act like they're doing you a favor by serving you one of their atrociously over priced pizzas. Tasteless crust, like Wond... read more
Best Pizza in RI found on Federal Hill Caserta's on Federal Hill in Providence is probably the best pizza in RI. Everyone has their preferences but this thick, crusty pizza seems to have wide appeal. There is no delivery available just pick up service or you can eat in their large dining area. Caserta's Pizza is basically just great pizza but they do offer the fabulous "Wimpy Skimpy" better known as a spinach pie stuffed with cheese and pepperoni. Experience Federal Hill by visiting Caserta's Pizza.
Best pizza Good ole fashion italian pizza. This is the best pizza around. It is pricey for a pizza pie but worth every penny. They offer a large selection of toppings. The only con is the wait because they are so popular.
Awesome Pizza You must try the pizza!! You name it they have it. You can dine in or take out. Caserta is located on "The Hill" well known to those from the area. Very Italian atmosphere.
Caserts Pizza This is a place that sells Pizza and Calzones only. The Pizza is pan style. The pizza is tasty and reasonable price. There is parking for free nearby. Although, I like crispy New York Style pizza better, this is a good place to take noisy children.
Wasn't impressed – My husband and I are from the area and we weren't impressed at all with their pizza. We have had better elsewhere. Everyone has a right to their own opinion but we prefer not eating there again. Nothing to brag about and we don't understand why they have such a high rating to begin with.
Great Pizza – I have been going to Casserta's for over 20 yrs. Now that I live in TN that is the 1st place we go to when we get to RI. I love this place. It has the best pizza that I have ever tasted! It reminds me of being young. I recommend it to everyone.
