This pizza is amazing. Love how the sauce is on top of the cheese! Thick crust; a definite visit for anyone visiting RI
The absolute best pizza in the state. period.
Over rated pizza for sure. I don't know what happened to their pizza but it sure isn't like the old days. Boring atmosphere, rude counter help and less than average pizza. Won't go back, that's for sure.
Good pizza when hot ok when cold. A little spicy but I still enjoyed it.
Very slow service called ahead and had to wait 25 more min
The food was great but the service was really bad since the owner said my friend my daughter and I was being imature when all we was trying to do was keep a 2 year old from crying we didn't want people 2 complain... Will never go there again...
Won't go back I've lived in RI my whole life and never heard of Caserta. Once I heard it was the best in New England I made it a point to go and try it. I have to say it really didn't live up to the hype. Maybe if I had eaten at the restaurant it would've been different... having the pizza right out of the oven. I won't go there again and I won't ... read more
Caserta's still the best. I don't know what that guy is saying about the pizza being different.Over 20 years ago my wife and I used to hang out at Caserta while dating. The had a franchise going and we used to visit to the one in Narragansett called 'Serta by the Sea. There was another one in Warwick too near Sandy Bottom Lane. They only franchised the name for a few years and then those places changed their names.Last year we just decided out of the blue to go to the original location in Providence. We were amazed and pleas... read more
To Alan's review I grew up in Federal Hill and on Caserta's Pizza. I moved away when I was 21 and didn't go back for 17 years so, when I did go back for my first visit home I had to go toe Caserta's, my favorite Pizzeria on the hill. My mom and all my relatives warned me I'd be disappointed, it was nothing like when I was a kid. I don't know how or why it changed but it is not the same as when I was a kid growing up there in the 60s.
