Absolutely horrible experience! Double billed me with no explanation or itemized bill. Had orthotics made and was told the cost would be $400 which I paid on the day they scanned me. after the fact they are telling me I owe $238 more dollars. would never do business with them again and will have to fight the new charges.

the doctors and staff they are the best I have seen 3 doctors there all for different reasons and I can't say enough about the care they provide !!

Dr. Hegewald is AMAZING! He is knowledgable, thorough, and great at what he does. I was NOT IMPRESSED with Columbia Gorge Surgery center and I wish there was another option for surgery. I wasn't super impressed by the PAs there. I've only seen Dr. Stanley once, and then was referred to Hegewald.
The surgery was good. But the service after the sale leaves a lot to be desired. Failure to return phone calls. Mishandling of paperwork that I paid for. Caused a huge delay of my income from disability insurance. An can keep ranting. But instead I'll leave with what I was told on my last inquiry. Oh I'm so sorry there's no one that can help you in office today and being as it is a Holliday weekend we won't be able to help you till next Wednesday Sorry have a nice weekend though.
I have been seeing Dr. Hegewald to correct my hammertoes. He and his staff are extremely kind, knowledgable and easy to be around. Dr. Hegewald was able to explain my surgery and what to expect without confusing terminology and just made me feel at peace with having to go under the knife. He was always calm, cool, and collected throughout the entire process and his professional demeanor helped to put me at ease. Dr. Hegewald has even kept in close contact throughout my recovery, making sure I am comfortable and healing well.... read more
