Excellent My siblings and I chose Carvers after taking a look at all the Restaurant Week menus. Originally, we had a reservation at Crab Catcher but the Restaurant Menu didn't WOW us so we chose Carvers. My brother told me he didn't check reviews, so we didn't know what to expect. Located in a strip mall (Vons Plaza, directly behind Starbucks) it's a little hidden, and a wonderful surprise. Since it was Restaurant Week, we got 3 course meals for either $30 or $40. Carvers Steaks & Chops has great atmosphere and food Carvers Steaks & Chops has amazing food and wonderful atmosphere. They accommodate parties of 2 to parties of 20 with the same great service. The staff is friendly and courteous.
Carvers The food at Carvers in Rancho Bernardo is very good. The wait staff is friendly, however we did have an issue where we found a piece of broken glass on one of our glasses and they basically just said "oops, someone must have broken something." Considering the cut someone could have had if we hadn't seen the glass, we expected a slightly more serious response from them.
Great North County Restaurant This hidden gem in Rancho Bernardo has a great selection of food. I enjoyed the ribs when I went, they were fall-off the bone good! The service is great too! Reservations are recommended.
RecommendedWe’ve never had a bad experience there. Been going for years. Steaks are always cooked perfect. Service is awesome. It IS a steak and chop house. Amazing. Delicious. Worth the price.
