My favorite pet store. All of the employees are knowledgeable and ready to answer any questions; whether it's for a cat, dog, fish, bird, reptile, etc, they have it covered!
Had yet another wonderful experience yesterday. We just picked up our new puppy and wanted to stop bye Carter's to the pick up all of the necessities. As usual we are greeted With friendly staff which helped with every item we were looking for. Everything we need every time we come in. Thank you Carter's!!

I love the "mom and pop" feel that Carter's offers, also the variety of food options they carry is amazing. My cats LOVE Almo Nature, and Evo and they are picky eaters. Carter's is the only place local that carries both Almo Nature and Evo which makes it easy for me to purchase a lot, or a little. The staff is always friendly and helpful as well.

I'm very disappointed in their care for their animals, not only did the guiena pigs have flys all in their cage, they had mixed a gueina pig with a rabbit which is not acceptable, rabbits can hurt them, rather they have grown up together or not, this is not a good pet store it is dirty, rabbits and gps have different diets, and rabbits carry different diseases. As an animal lover and customer, I am disappointed and will never buy from them again!

Thank you Josie for your concern for the welfare of our animals. That particular rabbit and guinea pig were dumped in a very tiny, dirty, and sad cage near the dumpster at the rear of our store. Since they were housed together when we found them, we didn't want to cause them even more stress by seperating them. They had to have baths, nails done, a thorough brush out and teeth trimmed on the rabbit. So now they have a much better life than they were dealt in their old home. I love the varieties of animals, however the staff on the other hand is one of the worst Ive seen. I'm a co-manager at a store here in town, my job is customer service. I'm offended every time I enter this building because of it. It seems as if they all despise their job. After the last time a few days ago I won't be back.
