Carrabba's Italian Grill was founded in Houston, TX by Johnny Carrabba and Damian Mandola in December of 1986, who set out to create a restaurant experience where people felt like guests in their home. Both Johnny and Damian belong to one of Houston's most successful restaurant families, and many of the recipes on our menu are those of Damian's mother Grace and sister Rose. Damian travels the world in search of the best ingredients and most unique Italian dishes so Carrabba's food tastes authentic and delicious.

for the price of the food, the inside was really shabby looking. Our seats were torn up and I guess chips put of the table, which we thought was food stuck on it. I hade lobster ravioli, which had little to no meat in the, the bread was a bit under cooked and there was very little sauce. my husband had salmon, which was cooked ok but there was so much lemon that you could taste little else. Food is good! But your carry out TAKES FOREVER. I was told on two different occasions the food was ready I still had to wait over 20 minutes of it “being ready”. It wasn’t busy that I could see. Y’all gotta step up your carry out quickness. Makes me not even want to order because of the inconvenience of waiting... after it’s suppose to be ready.
I am a Shands employee and on April 16,2020, an array of food was delivered for hospital staff. Amazing food and amazing gesture of kindness. Thank you for what you did, your generosity was inspiring.
