Beautiful beach, clean water, dolphins, birds, crabs, restaurants and bars close by. Not too crowded. A Malibu for us regular folks.
We luv Carpinteria, one of are favorite places to camp and come for the day. My children have very fond memories of Carpinteria sense we have camped here every here for over 10 years!!
Great place , great weather, great camp site , best part about you can bring your doggie to the campsite

Our favorite beach in the area. It's great to play in the waves, walk the beach and search for seashells. When we were there a pod of about 12 dolphins swam by near the shore. "The Spot", it's a great place to walk from the beach to grab a quick bite to eat! Carpinteria is great little walking community with excellent beaches!
This beach is the place where my families best memories have been made
Carp is the bomb. Parking is limited, beach has its share of oil for your feet, restrooms are clean, the crowd is good - more family oriented/less rif raf. Something about this small town beach community is what keeps generations of families coming back again and again.
