She was spot on with the medication she prescribed , I was told by my specialist that she should always remain on my medical team, she caught something critical that had been missed for years. She is understanding and I did not find her to be judgemental and is very easy to talk frankly to.
Horrible, degrading experience. She automatically assumes you are there just for drugs even though you were referred to her by your physician, and she will treat you like a drug addict. Do not waste your time with her. She is a horrible, unprofessional person.
Carolyn Mitchell is a good listener and a very good counselor. She has been spot on with her assessments, recommendations and medication management. As a result I feel better and am functioning more effectively at work and home. I would strongly recommend her to anyone that could benefit from psychiatric therapy.
Very knowledgeable, takes her time to get to the root cause of the problem. Variety of treatment methods and suggestions.

She takes the time to listen and without judgment. She asks questions to help you think more about how you are feeling and to help get to the root cause. She gives suggestions for books to read that can help and suggests different meditation practices. She doesn’t just write a prescription, she talks through a variety of ways to help manage symptoms.
She is judgemental and readily declines patients whose lifestyles she disagrees with after they have paid to see her.
Takes the time to listen and is very friendly. She is also patient.
