Good Food Bad Service – Attitude!!!!!!!! The food is good if you can get a seat. Once your seated you better eat fast because you will be asked to leave if they need the space. The wait staff is rude and not friendly. I have been to Carmines in NY and this is nothing like that. A bad copy with bad service.
PREGO!! – Carmine's on Penn has AWESOME Italian dining and terrific service. The staff always goes out of their way to accomodate. It's a great place to take a date or large party(the blue room is so beautiful!) Be sure to make reservations, because people have been known to get on the waiting list for hours!!!!! The chef, Brian, has a great menu, and the pricing is just right when you figure one plate serves 4!! DEFINITELY worth an evening of dining!!!!!!
Creamy and Saucy! – Carmine's on Penn never disappoints. Whether it's just the two of us or a few more, we always have great service and better yet, exceptional family style Italian food. The Chicken Montana is a favorite, with sun-dried tomatoes, sliced chicken breast, tips of asparagus, and the creamiest, most perfectly seasoned white sauce you can imagine. If it's comfort you need, Carmine's is the place to be. Best comfort food in Denver!
Yep it's great – One of our few great finds in Denver, we didn't realize how lucky we were to get in - we ran some errands and came back an hour later. Immediately we could tell we would get great food, family style just means we all share the same meal or have food to enjoy the next few days! I may bring a cooler next time for my precious leftovers. We will be back and have in-town guests here also.
A neighborhood charm – The owner, Chris, and the Manager Jay are two of the nicest people ever! They know their food and wine and will give you GREAT servie. Delicious!
Excellent! – Carmine's on the Penn's was absoultely the best. One plate serves two people. Prices are more than resonable for the amount served, and wait staff was helpful and friendly! We had 7:15pm reservations but were seated before that.
Italian in the mountains – I have to say I love the food at Carmine's but the wait staff should clean themselves up. There is nothing worse than getting your food served by a sweaty, unshaven, long-haired guy who looks as if it is a hassle that he is there. I still love the food and will go back I just hope the wait staff looks as if they care a little more.
Awesome – From the moment we walked in the place the fun started. The atmosphere screams a good time. We had excellent servive starting from the Hostess and continueing through the entire meal. The portions are huge so bring your appetite. If you are planning on going with a group call ahead and plan on a wonderful evening.
