i attend oncology for cancer recovery. after chemo and radiation i see my nurse and doctor routinely for health visits. i also take medications that my nurse and doctor suggest. these visits monthly or bi monthly or every six months helps my recovery. The doctors and nurse @ texas oncology are compassionate and part of cohesive team member for beating cancer.
Dr. Taboada is a very compassionate and knowledgeable doctor. He's always looking out for my best interests even when it is difficult for me to hear. Chemotherapy and all associated treatments can be very hard and, at times, discouraging, but he always managed to get me mentally back on track. I had some difficult issues during the course of my chemo and he always steered me in the right direction. As of today, I am cancer free. Dr. Taboada was very caring and kind. He stays engaged in his patients thoughts and concerns.
Very thorough, always explaining in detail the tests and related information.During the last appointment I mentioned some back pain and immediately he ordered tests to make sure the cancer has not spread. I was in agony waiting for the results but so relived when I got the good news.
Great but I was treated with pure hatred from the woman who took my blood. I won’t go back
Having cancer was one of the most difficult times in my life and I am thankful for Dr. Toboada. He is kind, gentle and compassionate. I always had a sense of relief every time I had a visit with him. When there was an issue he responded immediately. I am so glad he was my doctor during that time of my life. The treatment was draining but I was calm because of Dr. Toboada.
Dr Taboada is very knowledgeable, respectful and kind. He listens carefully and explains things well. His staff is great as well

Dr Taboada and his NP Lauren are the absolute best. They both listen and are not hurried, listen and let me ask all the questions I have. They truly care about how I am doing and want the best care and outcome for me. I would recommend them to anyone who asked. I feel confident that his medical decisions are in my best interest. Great place to go for care during a scary time of my life.
