RecommendedGreat place to meet for lunch, no problem catering to med size groups 6-10 larger should call ahead. Great food friendly servers and a diverse menu from BBQ, variety of sandwiches daily meat & veggie specials and great desserts.Been eating there too many years to admit.

Omg how have I not heard of this place before?? The food was amazing!! Even the green beans were mouth watering. Whose mouth waters over veggies?? I will definitely be back. The brisket melted in my mouth.
Pulled pork sandwich excellent with lots of moist meat. Fries and complimentary fried pickles excellent. I have been eating here for 30 years and the service was the best it has EVER been here. Very very good

Great place to grab lunch! Service is quick, portions are MASSIVE, and the food is awesome! Those fried pickles are legit too. Been around longer than other BBQ places and for good reason! Definitely check it out.
Carlile’s is always a great place for lunch. If you like barbecue, you need to check this place out. The staff is super friendly, and the food is always consistent. It’s a hidden gem in the heart of Birmingham. Their fried pickles and bbq chicken sandwich are amazing!! Highly recommend�
