Our pet Boxer is getting on in years and recently became ill. My wife took her to Caring pet clinic for its proximity to our home. The veterinarian was great. He empathized with our situation and was very honest and forthright in stating that we could spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars but the outcome would most likely be the same. One of my cats died last year -- we came home from a long vacation and it turned out our little one decided we'd never come back and stopped eating. :( We rushed him to the clinic and the doc did what he could, but our poor kitty didn't last much longer. The doc called us right away, and as we weren't really in a mood to talk from grief, he knew we couldn't really be intelligent about anything. I've always had a good experience here. When I moved to the Bay area I brought my 2 cats in. There are separate doors for cats and dogs, which is nice if you have a pet that can't deal.

Very reasonable. They truly care about every pet that walks thru there doors. I will always use them for all my pets needs and could NOT imagine why anyone would want to go anywhere else. Dr. Manget "ALWAYS" goes above and beyond his call of duty. The staff is also exceptional and very knowledgeable. U should give them a try and see for yourself, there name says it all; "CARING PET HOSPITAL" Love you guys
He listens and explains everything clearly. The nurse up front is also very friendly and helpful. It's a small business, so if one or two other pets are there then you should expect to wait - there's only one vet, after all. But usually they're not all that busy.
My cat has had some health problems, and the doc always takes care of him. Once he had to stay overnight for a few nights, and the doc let us come in and visit him every day. The doc worked to get his food right and is always encouraging.
Efficient and friendly – I've been taking my kitty to this Vet since 2007. I find the vet to be efficient and friendly. His cat-side waiting room is always clean and his receptionist is very friendly and helpful. The exam room is always clean and tidy. The vet is good with our kitty who is scared to death and ready to attack every time he visits, but Dr. Manget is able to gently examine him. I would recommend the Caring Pet Hospital to other cat lovers in South Hayward.
Very gentle and patient – I'm very pleased with the Drs. and staff and how they are very gentle and patient with my kitties.
