Dr. Carida was rude and arrogant. There was a scheduling problem and my dad was told to come to the hospital at 6am for an 830 am procedure. When we got to the hospital they told us his office said 10am instead of 8:30. We tried to reach him and his office multiple times with no response. When he arrived he was rude and never once apologized or even tried to comfort my dad who had been waiting 3.5 hours for a heart procedure. Mistakes happen but he showed zero compassion or accountability.
He WAS a good surgeon. Now 2017 he is by far the worst. Don’t expect for him to get back to you even after a month of calls from me and nurses at hospital. He also never checked my moms corarted arteries once. She’s been going to him since 03. She’s had many heart surgeries and strokes. Should be a priority. Yet both arteries are severely blocked. So another surgeon did stent one artery. She’s back in hospital after less than a week. Dr carida still will not call the hospital back. Worse Dr ever
Amazing Dr. I went to 2 specialists before him and they missed my heart attack. Dr Carida met me at ER 20 minutes after EKG and saved my life. Straight up! No other way to describe it. If you want your life saved get Dr. Carida.. if not your on your own. Glenn Segal
I just had my 6 month check-up. Dr. Carida says everything's o.k. Dr. Carida is a great, knowledgeable cardiologist who always answers all of my questions. I highly recommend him. Also, nine years ago he saved my life with an angioplasty.
My husband was a long time patient of Dr. Carida's and when he had a stroke he never even came to see him. He sent in two doctors that we did not know and had them explain what should be done. When we complained he then said he would do the procedure. He did the procedure and that was the last time we saw him. My husband was in the hospital for 8 days and had to have a surgery that could only be done by a Thoracic surgeon but we never saw Dr. Carida again.
Dr carida saved my dads life and my family and I will be forever greatfull!!!! He did to my father what others thought was not possible!!!
