He saved my life (5 stars)
The worst doctor ever. Was admitted to hospital on Saturday night with AFIB as a result of flu. I am home now and never saw this doctor. They did an echocardiogram on me and said I would be released Tuesday as soon as he signed off on the echo. Still never saw him. Finally staff at hospital called another cardiologist who was on his way to his car and came Beach to hospital to sign me out. Had a ct scan of the heart 4 weeks ago, called the office 3 times, never received a call about interpreting the results of the test. I wanted to set up an appointment and they said to wait. Shouldn’t accept new patients if he cant be a competent doctor. This is a shame. I should have gotten a call before i had to call 3 times. Now i will go somewhere else.
Dr Carida is awesome and so are his staff. He has done stents on me twice, I feel confident with his diagnosis, his work, his staff, and his care and concern.
i have made multiple attempts to post a review here, all of which have been censored even though they meet the community guidelines. the community will not therefore have the benefit of learning the details of my very negative experience with dr. carida. i can only urge in the strongest terms that if you are in need of an interventional cardiologist that you find one who, at a minimum, is capable of returning a phone call.
I’m not sure if my problem is with the Dr. or his staff. There’s a serious lack of compassion, concern and competence. My mother had an echocardiogram over 3 weeks ago. She’s been calling the office since then. All she gets is a run around from the rude receptionists and a promise of a return call. No return call has come and the people answering the phone clearly don’t care. Who knows, he may be a good doctor, maybe not. We’ll never know for sure since we can’t speak to him. Never returned a single phone call when my 89 year old mother was in the hospital even though he was her primary cardiologist. Avoid at all costs.
Thank you Dr. Carida! Last week our family found ourselves in the middle of a cardiac emergency. My 85 year old, diabetic father in law needed 8 stents. This was an event we were not prepared for. We did not have an opportunity to research doctors but needed to put our faith and trust in Dr. Carida. Not only is he an exceptional doctor, BUT he DOES take time to explain exactly what is going on to the family. He is skilled, compassionate, thoughtful and completely trustworthy. Thank You.
Definitely a top choice for a cardiologist. He spends as much time with me as necessary for me to understand my condition and his prescribed treatment.
