It's a great insurance company if you are a healthy individual and never require any serious treatment. Trying to get approvals for procedures is like trying to dental work on a great white shark. Deny, Deny, Deny, Delay, Delay, is all they know. We've had Care Plus for several years and they were great when we had no health issues. I work for a medical office and called trying to get authorization for physical therapy. After being on hold for 30 minutes someone answers. I explain that I work for Dr. Smith and am trying to get physical therapy authorization for a mutual patient. The representative asked me if it was capitated or not. I told her that I am not sure what capitated means. Then she hangs up the phone... How do people get away from this. I asked others in the office if they have had similar experiences. Bait and switch tactics with Careplus, Fl. Bruno should be embarrassed as well as parent company Aetna/Humana, they seriously dropped the all with this venture.
I have a problem with companies that feel they have to trick you into joining them. I received a card in the mail saying Happy Birthday call to claim your free gift no enrollment required. after 2 phone calls and 5 people they admitted that is NOT TRUE. It is just a scam to get you to sign up.
Nothing but problems with there over the counter staff ! Spoke with two different staff members that didn't put my January order in. Filed complaint and supervisor did nothing but lie about returning a call. I was held on the phone 1 1/2 hours being put on hold several times. No resolve up to this point. Don't consider these crooked people !!!
I only had frustrations with this company so far. Most clinics do not work with Care Plus. I made an appointment and I can't schedule blood tests ... Very simple, I will change companies immediately!
was lied to by care plus agents so many times and given the runaround for days after being denied my prescription for insulin. left on hold for up to 28 mins and then dropped time and time again. \ \they don't like paying out claims
