Con Artists – Renters beware!!! They keep part of your deposit automatically...read your lease carefully before you sign it. Then they drum up fake charges to take the rest. "the walk thru" I was told everything looked great and then 2 months later I am told I didnt get all of my deposit because the room needed painted. The kicker- he accused me of shutting the door to hide the stickers on the wall in my daughters room. I guess I had to lead him by the hand to walk everywhere! Great House – I have lived in many apartment complexes in Knoxville. Cardinal blows them all away! They rent houses in West Knoxville that are better than an apartment and at a better price. I saw some people say that they had an issue with maintenance. I had a great experience. The maintenance guy was very nice and took care of it right away. That is saying alot due to the fact that I caused the problem in the first place. I would recommend Cardinal to anyone!
Great House, Pet friendly – This company seems to specialize in renting houses instead of apartments and its been great for us. We had issues with our last two apartments because of our dog, but now we rent a home which is very nice and we don't have neighbors complaining because we do not share a wall with anyone else.
Nicer than an apartment but too expensive – I haven't had any issues with the 2 bedroom townhome I rent but I couldve found a three bedroom apartment for the price.
Nice Homes, Good Company – I've rented from them for over two years and had a good experience. Not much in the way of maintenance issues, but when I did have one, they were very responsive.
Rude Rude Rude!!! – My husband and I started renting with this company in 2006. The lady who was helping us was a delight to work with well needless to say she is no longer with the company! Any who...after our lease was up we decided to find something bigger and that had a fenced in yard for our dogs. The lady realtor called us about a month before we moved and told us she had the perfect place for us on the other side of town. Still waiting for security deposit refund!!! – We moved out almost 2 months ago and still have not received our security deposit even though we left the place in good condition. No surprise since they hardly ever addressed any maintenance issues while we were tenants. We can't even get someone on the phone who knows anything about our previous condo. Frustrating!
Completely ignores tenants!!! – We have lived here for almost two years and have not had a single maintenance issue resolved. We have contacted Cardinal Enterprises several times by phone and in writing regarding problems with plumbing and insects. We have even spoken to employees face-to-face about these problems. Avoid at all costs – My husband and I have had a horrible experience with this company. First of all it takes an act of congress to get them to return your calls, and if they do it will do absolutely no good because they do not plan on ever taking care of any maintenance issues that you may have with their properties. Also, if you do actually get to speak to someone, you will receive rude comments.
